Sahara

  • What is the weather like in the dry parts of the Sahara you may ask. Well in the summer time on average above 90 degrees F. In winter it is at average 50-60 degrees F. The highest on charts it has ever reached is 136 degrees F and that was in Al Aziziyah, Libya. Some of that is because the average rain fall there yearly is less than 8 inches. The amount of water a person loses in the Sahara is two gallons a day and four gallons if their walking. If your walking in the desert and it becomes black your in a dust storm with very high winds and sand and dust everywhere these winds can reach 100 miles per hour

  • How do you think a Tuareg's life might be different from that of someone who lives along the Nile you may ask.Tuareg people just has salt, but as peolpe along the Nile water, crops and other vegatables, and rich nutrients. For the People along the Nile they are not as lucky as people mk them out to be because they have floods, but it hasn't for many years; that must be why most Egypt's people have lived close to the Nile for thousands of years.
